Gaia Pope passing: Arrested family need police statement of regret
A 19-year-old wrongly associated with Gaia Pope's murder has been "very nearly a mental breakdown", his mom has said.
Nathan Elsey was kept close by his grandma Rosemary Dinch, 71, six days after Miss Pope, 19, vanished.
Deborah Elsey said she had "no thought" why her child was a suspect and has approached Dorset Police to apologize.
The power, which has discharged the match without charge, said officers would have had "numerous reason for capture".

Mrs Elsey, a family companion of Miss Pope's, said her child's capture was an "unpleasant stun".
'Each and every feeling'
Her sibling Paul Elsey was likewise captured on doubt of murder and later discharged.
Mrs Elsey said she and the three captured relatives were remaining with her dad Greg.
"Despite everything we're not in our homes and still have none of our belongings. At any rate I'd like a conciliatory sentiment," she said.
"We're experiencing each and every feeling moved into one - you don't realize what you're feeling.
"One moment you need to sob for yourself, at that point you weep for Gaia and her family and after that there's outrage for police."
Miss Pope was accounted for missing from Swanage, Dorset, on 7 November.
Her body was found on Saturday 18 November in a field close to the town.
An after death examination directed the following day did not recognize any wounds to recommend the contribution of other individuals, Dorset Police said.
On Monday, the power declared Paul Elsey, Ms Dinch, and Nathan Elsey were to confront no activity.
